| Earlier this week, I attended the orientation, signed all HIPPA documents, completed the criminal background check, and learned how to track hours/visits at the Merrimack County Nursing Home. Today was my first official visit, and it was great. I visited a total of 5 residents for about 7-10 minutes each. I asked the nurse (at the nurses station) who she would suggest, and she provided 5 names & room numbers for me. Really special visits. A nice beginning: -) In the future, I may spend a little bit more time with these residents; this was my 1st visit, so I kept it light & friendly. Thank you for providing this opportunity! I will be visiting the MKNH every Tuesday morning. jo |
