Rosey continues to do her monthly visits at Concord Hospital and the Antrim Avenue A Teen Center. In between the visits she attends groups settings for book reading, children under the age of three with diabetes and local town events.
Rosey is a rescue from Arkansas and she was born to be a therapy dog. When asked what is her breed the staff at Concord Hospital states in unison, “Poodle ish”.
One day at the hospital a young male visited with Rosey. He sat there in complete silence for what felt like 30 minutes. He began to sob. I am not sure how dogs do it exactly but they truly know how to connect and reach the soul of a person.
Rosey shares her daily adventures on her social media page. https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100089469647998&mibextid=vk8aRt
Rosey will soon be visiting the Transitional Housing Facility in Bradford on a monthly basis
