Attached are a few photos from last week’s visit to the Hooksett Public Library.  They are starting a new meet and read with a dog program geared toward 5-12 year olds. We will be alternating weeks with another dog/team.  Walter did great!  He sat by and listened to a young girl read.  I noticed after about 10-15 minutes, she started to get more comfortable and started reaching out towards him to pet or run her fingers through his fur.  Afterwards, her mom told me her daughter loved to read, but was actually afraid of dogs and was surprised she got so close for so long, and she even accepted a kiss from Walter!
