This morning Walter and I visited with the paramedics and EMT’s at American Medical Response (AMR) in Manchester. The first responders have been coping and struggling with some recent tragedies and needed a boost, so Walter and I went for a visit. We met about a dozen or more people in their break room, as crews trickled in and out coming from and going to calls. The crew didn’t know that one of their people had requested a therapy dog visit, so everyone was surprised and delighted to see Walter when they walked in! He happily greeted everyone he met and was more than happy to listen to their stories, lean in for a good pet or lay down for an ear or belly rub!
