Lucy & I were invited back to work with special needs students in the Gateway Program. This was our second week since school started their 2014-2015 year. Lucy is working with the two same students she had last spring.
We entered the school and Lucy pulled me to the room where the students were waiting. She put her head on each of their laps and wagged her tail. All were excited to see each other after the summer vacation. Depending on the ability of each student we are building to get back to where we left off in the spring. It’s great to see the joy on the student’s faces and the wag of Lucy tails. The hour goes by quickly and we are looking forward to be there every Wed. morning this school year.
