Concord Hospital’s PUP (Pets Uplift People) Program offers patients, family members and staff the opportunity to interact with certified therapy dogs.
Volunteers and their dogs must go through the Hospital Orientation after being certified for Pet Therapy. There are opportunities at various Concord Hospital locations (Concord, Laconia and Franklin). The PUP program is made up of teams; the pet therapy animal and handler (owner) as well as an Escort. Both roles are held by volunteers and currently have open positions.
