Jack and I made our first visit to Rockingham County Rehabilitation and Nursing Center (RCRNC) on Wednesday March 23. Accompanied by Jennifer MontPlaisue, the Activities Director, we visited first floor units. These patients were in nursing care units.
Jack had no issues visiting clients in a common room, or rooms. Because Jennifer was with Jack and I she could direct us to patients and staff she knew would enjoy a visit with Jack. I appreciate Jennifer accompanying us because there were patients I might have overlooked because of their ability to communicate or reach out to Jack. She knew them well, often placing their hands on Jack. When this happened their faces changed! This extra care allowed them to participate and enjoy Jack.
