This week Lucy and I were able to give all our attention to one girl. This student doesn’t make eye contact, only can walk with the aid of a person holding her or a walker and doesn’t speak any words. But when she sees that Lucy has come into the room, she can make the loudest yell of joy. The student really tries to do different task with Lucy. Some days the progress is only seeing how happy she is to be with Lucy. They communicate with each other in ways I don’t know, what I do know is, the time spent together is always time well spent.
