Roccia and we visited this site twice this year now….Al and Roccia visited residents in parts of the facility while Joan (licensed MT) did hand massage on residents selected each visit by Ruthie the Activities Coordinator…both visits went really well…the residents enjoyed seeing our happy older Chocolate Labrador Retriever, Roccia, and they enjoyed the hand massage (most of them have never had one done!) .. we had lovely conversations with the residents some of which were very knowledgeable about the surrounding areas so we got a history lesson which was awesome! What a wonderful volunteer opportunity this is for us humans and our pets….thank you….
