What a great start we have had at Kearsarge High School! Everyone is on board and we are on our way for a great year. The last few weeks have been spending time for the adults that work with the students to watch how Lucy interacts with the students and how they will need to help each student to be involved even if the students are just watching another student working with Lucy. We are using hand signals for each of the students to use with Lucy so she is hearing a command and also a hand movement. This will help Lucy understand their broken speech and the two students that do speak will be able to communicate with Lucy better. I explained that Lucy is learning to listen to students commands and that she is still in tuned with me, so she is working hard doubly hard. That she needs to follow the students command like she follows mine. Great to be back at Kearsarge Gateway program.  Lucy and Pam
