I have noticed in the past visits with students who are walking Lucy, she will walk better with some students than others. So the past weeks I have been watching more closely. Watching the way the student hold the leash, how the student talks to her and the body language. All seem very important, I noticed if the student was relaxed and wasn’t saying a lot of words (commands) to Lucy, she would walk at the side of the student and not try to walk a head of the student. When I made some corrections with students, I began to see Lucy walking closer next to the student and the leash became more relaxed.
