We're back at the high school working and playing in the Gate Way Program. This is our third week there. Sorry we haven't been letting you folks know what has been going on, just so busy and our computer has been under the weather for awhile. This year we have added 2 new students (boys) … Continue reading Kearsarge High School
Well again I haven't been good at keeping you folks up with what is happening with our visits at the Clough Center. My summer was very very busy and I wasn't able to be there as often as I would have liked, but we tried to get there whenever there was time. Today we had … Continue reading Clough Center, New London, NH
Roccia and we visited this site twice this year now….Al and Roccia visited residents in parts of the facility while Joan (licensed MT) did hand massage on residents selected each visit by Ruthie the Activities Coordinator…both visits went really well…the residents enjoyed seeing our happy older Chocolate Labrador Retriever, Roccia, and they enjoyed the hand … Continue reading Summercrest Newport NH
Reese gets so excited when I get out her special leash and collar. She knows she is going to get lots of hugs and pets as she wags her tail for the appreciative residents.

We arrived a little late in the afternoon, but Reese still gave lots of wags and kisses to the residents. She loves the visit as much as the residents do!Beth and Reese
Lucy and I were unable to do our weekly visits for three weeks, the winter brake for MA. & NH were filling any extra time I had. It was good to get back to see the students. Everyone was excited to see each other including Lucy. Her tail wagged so hard and the student's smiles … Continue reading Some Photos of Lucy at work at The Gateway Program
Lucy and I were only allowed to visit with a few residents today. I was told that colds and the flu was affecting a large percentage of the residents and they had closed off the wings for visitors. There were a few residents that were well and able to be out of their rooms, they … Continue reading Clough Center, New London, NH
This morning in Gateway there was only one student. Because the two students are so different in abilities, this was a perfect time to work one on one. Our first exercise was to show him hand signs that Lucy knew. Then asking him to use the hand signal when he wanted Lucy to come, sit … Continue reading Kearsarge High School The Gateway Program
A bitter cold day, what better place to spend our time but at the Clough Center. Lucy always enjoys the greeting we get when we arrive at the Clough Center. She wages her tail so hard that I worry she might hit someone with her tail. I may not remember each resident's name or what … Continue reading Clough Center New London, NH
